We may use your information to prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, security breaches, potentially prohibited or illegal activities, protect our trademarks and enforce our Terms of Use.
If any new purposes for processing your personal data arise, we will let you know we start to process information on that other purpose by introducing the corresponding changes to this Privacy policy.
Allowing its Users to compare any face with the celebrities and find out which celebrity they look like, it is requiring face data to make such comparisons. In order for this functionality to be possible, the app requires access to your device’s camera and/or photos already stored in your device. This access can be toggled on or off at any time in your device’s settings.
In doing so, we use a third-party algorithm offered by Amazon Rekognition. The method detects the faces in the image provided by Users and extracts facial features into a feature vector. Later, extracted feature vectors are used to perform face match.
The app does not sync face data to a server or cloud. The camera images and resulting data (feature vectors) are only used for the purposes of comparison. Once a session is completed we do not retain any of this facial data. Facial data is never stored to a disk. We do not perform facial recognition on your facial data.
We generally retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us and to comply with our legal obligations. If you no longer want us to use your information that we physically access and store, you can request that we erase your personal information and close your account.
However, some data may still be stored for a certain time period if information is necessary to comply with legal obligation (taxation, accounting, audit) or in order to maintain safety and data backup settings, prevent fraud or other malicious acts.
We may collect information that your web browser sends whenever you visit our Service ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service's functionality. These third-party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.
